Slowly

I've been back in St. Louis for a week now.  I went back to work on Sunday, after spending a few days with family and good friends.  Since going back to work, I feel like all I do is talk about my experience in Haiti.  I just can't help in.  Most other topics seem to pale in comparasion, and I can somehow relate just about anything to getting out of your comfortable life and helping children.  I think sometimes people think I'm a bit obsessed.  I would have to agree, I am.  And I'm ok with that.  If they are feeling that way, it's probably because they feel slightly convicted that they've not thought about helping a child have food and security.  Or they've thought about it and not actually done something.  If something I say can be used by the Holy Spirit to prompt others to action, then God, please keep my mouth moving.
I woke up yesterday morning with a goopy gross left eye.  I quickly figured out that I have pink eye, and that apparently I am highly contaigious.  Yuck.  So I spent the day in glasses, which I do not love.  And with an eye producing gross stuff.  Based on what I can tell, it lays dormant in the eye for three days after exposure, which means a customer or someone at church shared it with me.  I'd like to ask them to keep their sharing to oatmeal cookies and coffee. :)
I'm slowly putting better words to my time in Haiti.  I think in a few days, I'll be ready to blog about it.
