I’m here! Beth and I met our team in Ft Lauderdale, and what an amazing team they are! So many hearts breaking for God’s precious children! We have been so busy these last 3 days, and I have not had internet access @ the hotel. Not sure why it’s down, but it just has been.
It’s hard to describe all that is going on, but I know that God is moving! He is stretching and growing this team, and I look forward every night to hearing from them about their day.
We visited Cite Soleil on Thursday, and I was again struck by how desperate the situation is there. We’ve been doing a short VBS program for the kids the last 2 days. I was asked to read the Bible story part. I asked if I had to actually read it or if I could make it the ASV (Angie Standard Version…some of you are familiar with that one!) They said sure, and my translator totally went along with it! We had so much fun sharing how David Fully Relied On God (FROG) when fighting Goliath! Today we told about Rad, Shack, and Benny.
I pray you are all well. Please keep this ministry in your prayers. We are experiencing a major shortfall in the budget, and the orphanage is extremely near a crisis. I will email you again soon about what you can do to help. In the meantime, please pray and ask God what He would have you do.
