Over the last two years, I've gotten rid of so much stuff. So when I find stuff that I still have that is useful, I get really excited! The other day I found 2 rubber-maid like tubs that I can pack my stuff in to go to Haiti! They used to have teaching stuff in them, but I got rid of all of that earlier this spring.
So today I started packing. I've had so much stuff given to me to bless my Haitian family with! Customers at my store (Family Christian Store) donated Bibles for the older boys and girls, so that they would each have their own. So cool! And a DVD player from a second grader, with a radio on the way. And school supplies requested by the teachers, supplied by second graders at St. John Lutheran, where I used to teach.
SO EXCITING!!!!!
I just love knowing that the blessings in my life can overflow into the lives of others. And to get to see it all happen is a blessing all in itself.
