Earthquake

Hello Friends and Family,
Wow, quite a shift in prayer requests right now.  There was an earthquake in Haiti this afternoon about 15 miles from Port au Prince.  The orphanage is northwest of the city center, and there are many reports of major damage.  Contact was made with Pierre at the orphanage, and all of the children are ok, as are most of the staff.  One nanny was injured when wall fell on her.  No updates on her status yet.  Pierre's eye was injured, but no details were given.
Please pray for my friends.  Pray for the necessary supplies to be available for those at the orphanage.  Pray for the medical issues that the children have, that they would not be issues right now.  Pray for the security workers, pray for Pierre and Franckis as they tend to the needs of so many people.  Pray for their health and strength.  Pray that God would provide for them in ways they do not yet see.  Pray that the hearts and minds of the world are turned to the nation of Haiti.  Pray that beauty would come from these ashes.

Thank you Lord, that you have your children in the palm of your hand.  Thank you that you allow us to be part of your plan for turning hearts and minds back to you, Creator God.  Thank you for this opportunity that you have placed in front of us, to truly be Your hands and feet to those in need.  Lord, keep the needs of these precious people be in our minds, and when You prompt us to action, show us the fruits of being obedience to your calling on our lives.
We love you Lord, we thank you for your work in our lives, and we thank you for the opportunity to share your love with your Haitian children.
