In the First Week of School...

Math time
*humming The 12 Days of Christmas*We sang a Christmas song this morning while we watched ice melt and learned why it is unlikely that it will snow in Haiti.  We decided that since all things are possible with God, it is possible, just not likely.
It is hot today.  Humid beyond imagination, and not a single leaf is moving on a single tree.  Wow.
Circles in playdoh
I thought I'd share a few pics from the beginning of school.  Today is day 3.  The older kiddos are learning things like raising hands before speaking, reviewing math concepts from last year, and the weather.  The kindergarten class made fans this morning from popsicle sticks.  We have some budding engineers.  And the preschool practiced making circles in playdoh this morning.  My teacher heart is singing.   Enjoy my sights today.
