Not a lot of news, but I was told Sondy is doing better. I hope to go see him tomorrow or Monday.
I forgot in the earlier post: I saw one of Pierre's friends, Pastor Gary, when we were leaving the University Hospital. Someone grabbed Sondy's foot and was talking to him. Since I was holding Sondy, I felt the tug, and turned to see Pastor Gary. I love this man. Huge, like a teddy bear, with the sweetest, gentlest manner. I told him Sondy was sick, and all he did was put his hands on Sondy's head and say, "Be healed in the name of Jesus. In the mighty name of Jesus, be healed." He smiled at me, and on we went. I had chills.
We received formula today from FormulaOneLife, please check them out here: www.formulaonelife.org
They provide formula for all of our babies, as well as other babies in Haiti (and around the world!. We are so extremely thankful to Mary Beth, and everyone she has contact with in the delivery of formula. It is no easy task, and yet, she does everything in her power to make sure our babies have what they need. Several months ago, FormulaOneLife purchased Medika Mamba for us. We have not had need of it, so tomorrow it will go to our friends at Real Hope for Haiti. I am always in awe of the work God is doing in the ministry there, and ask that you consider supporting their efforts, if you feel led to do so. I only tell you about legitimate needs and legitimate organizations. I know that the months of November and December are filled with family time, and times of giving, and if you are looking for ways to make eternal differences, I'm happy to help make those connections. :)
Continue praying for Sondy, as well as for all our sweet babies and kiddos.
