I've been back for about a month. In that time, we've had a mission team from Missoula, Montana(Love Has Come) spend time getting to know Maison and what we are all about. Then we had an unexpected playground build from Kids Around the World, as well as an adoptive family bonding trip.
Before the excitement began though, I was able to spend a few quiet days with my kiddos. Those are the days that I love the mostest. We undecorated from Christmas. We took the tree down and took all the decorations down. One group had brought stockings for each of the children, which they hung on the iron of the front porch. Surprisngly, all the stockings were there. After 6 weeks in the sun they were more pinkish than red, but the kids didn't care. I had them take them all down, and went to find a trash can for the old stuff. When I came back out to the porch, I found the kiddos with the stockings on their feet. They had discovered that they could slide really really well across the floor with them on their feet. I couldn't help laughing and going to find Franckis for him to share in the silliness.
